The International Ensemble Modern Academy (IEMA)’s Wandelkonzert took place for the first time last year before an enthusiastic audience at the House of Music in Innsbruck and is back again this year in a corona-compliant form. We will have to forego simultaneous concerts, which in 2019 resulted in listeners moving about and crossing paths, but we will retain the format of various sound points in large halls, smaller auditoriums, foyers, and stairways. Trained staff will maintain corona safety measures and usher listeners to the various venues. An excellent and varied program awaits them, performed by the IEMA students and carefully rehearsed with the help of the instructors from Ensemble Modern. Despite the current safety restrictions, we have some nice surprises in store for you again this year.
